Does Memorial Day have anything to do with personal memory function?
I WENT TO PURCHASE AN ITEM TODAY THAT REQUIRES THAT I SHOW AN I.D.. THE SALESMAN POINTED OUT THAT MY DRIVER LICENSE EXPIRED ON MY BIRTHDAY LAST FEBRUARY.............SO AFTER THE INITIAL EMBARRASSMENT I SAID "WELL I'LL JUST WHIP OVER TO THE MVD DEPT. AND QUICKLY RENEW MY LICENSE AND RETURN BEFORE YOU CLOSE." I THOUGHT AT THE TIME HE LOOKED AT ME WITH A SYMPATHETIC FACE. I LEFT THE STORE AND RACED OVER TO THE MVD AND AS I TURNED ON TO THE STREET WHERE IT'S LOCATED I REALIZED THAT IT WAS CLOSED. NOT JUST TODAY BUT TOMORROW ALSO.
NOW I'M CONCERNED THAT I MIGHT HAVE TO TAKE THE DRIVER TEST...................I HAVEN'T HAD TO FOR MANY YEARS NOW. I'M PRETTY SURE I'LL DO OK UNLESS I HAVE TO PARALLEL PARK. (DOES ANYONE HAVE TO PARALLEL PARK NOW A DAY?)

Oops -- a reminder to check my passport before my trip to Canada in the fall!!! Love the graphic, Hap!
I haven't parallel parked in years. I can't remember the last time. I hope you don't have to take the test at all. What joke after all these years of driving. I better check my license. Janet is right. Nice graphic.
On the street where I live students parallel park every day. I watch them sometimes and there's some pretty bad parkers out here. Good luck if you do have to take a driving test again. I hope I never have to. I did it once when I got my license and that was enough.
Yay! I didn't have to take the test and they gave me five more years...............
that stinks. I remember when I lived in So Cal the DMV was a hellish place to have to go.
